It is difficult to predict with certainty which careers will no longer exist in 10 years due to the rapidly changing nature of technology and the job market. Almost all careers will go through a significant change and many will cease to exist.

Careers that are likely to be impacted immediately by automation and technological advancements include:

  • Data Entry Clerks
  • Telemarketers
  • Travel Agents
  • Bank Tellers
  • Postal Workers
  • Assembly Line Workers

It is important to note that while some jobs may become obsolete, new jobs will also emerge as technology and society evolve. It is essential for individuals to continuously acquire new skills and knowledge to stay relevant in the job market.

Now my take

*Almost all digital careers will not exist in 10 years! * Yes, you read that right. The more a career has digital dependency, the less likely for that career to survive in the next 10 years. So if the career involves digital activities like coding, content creation, mundane and repetitive stuff which requires very less human interaction, it is most likely to be non existent in 10 years.

Physical AI will also penetrate massively in the next 10 years and find acceptance the same way AI did in 2021. So Artificially Intelligent Machines doing the work of drivers, farmers, teachers, factory workers, police and other law enforcement agencies, army officers, vegetable and fruit vendors, etc will also go through a massive disruption and mostly will cease to exist in its current form.
