  • Salary: The salary of a TGT can range from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 45,000 per month, depending on the school and location.

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

  • Eligibility: PGTs typically need a Master's Degree in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed. degree.

  • Requirements: PGTs are expected to have in-depth knowledge of their subjects and good teaching skills. They may also need to clear specific eligibility tests.

  • Subjects: PGTs teach subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, English, etc., at the senior secondary level (classes 11 and 12).

  • Salary: The salary of a PGT can range from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, depending on the school and location.

Primary Teacher (PRT)

  • Eligibility: PRTs usually require a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.

  • Requirements: PRTs need to have a good understanding of foundational subjects and teaching methods suitable for young children.

  • Subjects: PRTs teach all subjects to students at the primary level (up to class 5 or 6).

  • Salary: The salary of a PRT can range from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, depending on the school and location.
